The checklist we actually use
Passport valid three months beyond return, with two blank pages. Confirmed round-trip bookings — held, not necessarily paid. Hotel confirmations matching every night of the itinerary. Bank certificate and statements no older than thirty days. Employment certificate with leave-of-absence dates. Travel insurance at €30,000 coverage across all Schengen states.
